The band program at South has something to offer everyone interested in playing in the  high school band.   The program offers 3 ensembles which perform in several concerts and  festivals throughout the year.  They have earned Superior ratings at festivals consistently  over the past 15 years.  South offers two jazz ensembles beginning in late November and ending in March.
Our award winning Tiger Marching Band is a Four-Time Class State Champion.  There are many opportunities for performance within the band program at South.
